First, our apologies for not catching this before it went out.
Second, thanks to all those who reported the problem. We absolutely watch the user feedback.
I will post again as soon as i have an update on how quickly we can fix this.

Sign in as Invisible Not Working
We *just* discovered that there were some AIM server changes which are causing "Sign on as Invisible" to fail to actually make you invisible. You can still make yourself invisible after you sign in, though.

As of July 5th, it still doesn't work. I only use it from work and can't have 1000 people IM'ing me while here. :)
Yeah, we're in a real bind. The soonest the server team can have the fix in place is 7/17.
I did ask for an emergency update to the servers but it turned out that fixing this is tangled up with a bunch of other changes which need to be finished and tested. I will continue to see if we can get the fix any sooner but i just wanted to be honest with everyone that 7/17 is the current earliest date.
Again, our apologizes.
Also, just to be clear, you can still go invisible after you log in.
